Summary:
The Operational Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the company. They work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure that the company’s financial records are accurate and up-to-date. The Operational Accountant also prepares financial reports and analyzes financial data to help the company make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices and payments *Reconcile bank accounts
- Conduct audits of financial records
- Assist with tax preparation
- Provide financial support to other departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
