Summary:

The Contract & Claims Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Claims team. This includes managing contracts, processing claims, and providing customer support. The Contract & Claims Assistant must have strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts:
    • Track the status of contracts
    • Ensure that contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures
    • Negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Process claims:
    • Receive and review claims
    • Investigate claims
    • Process payments to claimants
  • Provide customer support:
    • Answer customer questions about contracts and claims
    • Resolve customer issues
  • Other administrative tasks:
    • As directed, perform other administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in contracts or claims management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with contract management software
  • Experience with claims processing software
