Summary:
The Contract & Claims Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Claims team. This includes managing contracts, processing claims, and providing customer support. The Contract & Claims Assistant must have strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts:
- Track the status of contracts
- Ensure that contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Process claims:
- Receive and review claims
- Investigate claims
- Process payments to claimants
- Provide customer support:
- Answer customer questions about contracts and claims
- Resolve customer issues
- Other administrative tasks:
- As directed, perform other administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in contracts or claims management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with contract management software
- Experience with claims processing software
