Job Overview:

The Supermarket Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of supermarkets within Indusland Logistics’ supply chain. This role will require a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail industry, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain strong partnerships with supermarkets to ensure timely delivery of goods and high levels of customer satisfaction

– Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels and reduce wastage

– Develop and implement efficient processes for the ordering, receiving, and storage of goods within the supermarket

– Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards

– Evaluate and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement

– Train and supervise supermarket staff on best practices and company procedures

– Collaborate with other teams within Indusland Logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency

– Identify and resolve any supply chain issues or delays, and communicate updates to relevant parties

– Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on supermarket operations and performance

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in the retail industry, with a strong understanding of supply chain management

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

– Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Highly organized and detail-oriented

– Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

– Flexibility to work weekends and beyond normal business hours, when needed
