Summary:
The Quality Assistant is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that the company’s agrifood products meet the highest standards of quality. They work closely with other members of the QA team to perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Sampling and testing products
- Conducting audits and inspections
- Maintaining records and documentation
- Tracking and reporting on quality data
- Providing support to other QA team members
The Quality Assistant must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare samples of products for testing
- Conduct tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Document test results and prepare reports
- Conduct audits and inspections of production areas and equipment
- Identify and investigate quality issues
- Track and report on quality data
- Provide support to other QA team members
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in food science, quality assurance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in QA in the agrifood industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a quality management software is a plus
