Summary:
The Network Executive is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and management of the company’s network infrastructure. This includes overseeing the work of network engineers, technicians, and other IT staff; ensuring that the network is reliable and secure; and staying up-to-date on the latest network technologies. The Network Executive must have a strong understanding of networking principles and be able to think strategically about the company’s network needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the work of network engineers, technicians, and other IT staff
- Ensure that the network is reliable and secure
- Stay up-to-date on the latest network technologies
- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures
- Monitor network performance and identify potential problems
- Work with other IT teams to ensure that the network is aligned with the company’s business goals
- Represent the company at industry events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of networking principles
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- strong knowledge about firewall( Fortigate, Cyberoam), domain, hosting(Hostgater, Godaddy, Namecheap)
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a variety of network hardware and software
