Summary:
The Goods Counting Specialist is responsible for counting and verifying the quantity of goods in stock. This includes counting items in the warehouse, receiving shipments, and preparing reports. The Goods Counting Specialist must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Count and verify the quantity of goods in stock
- Receive shipments and inspect goods for damage
- Prepare inventory reports
- Reconcile inventory records
- Identify and report discrepancies
- Assist with inventory audits
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in inventory counting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to use a barcode scanner
