Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Maritime Performance and Projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maritime industry, with a proven track record of effectively managing maritime projects and driving operational excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our maritime operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will also be responsible for leading and managing various maritime projects to ensure their timely and successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of our maritime operations.
– Conduct regular evaluations and audits to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
– Oversee the execution of maritime projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
– Collaborate with various teams including operations, finance, and procurement to identify and resolve any issues that may impact project timelines and budgets.
– Monitor and analyze operational data to track performance and identify trends.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners.
– Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and standards.
– Manage a team of maritime professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
– Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the maritime industry.
