We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Lead to join our team at Indusland Logistics. As the Mechanical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our fleet of trucks and ensuring they are operating at their optimal efficiency. You will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our equipment and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our clients’ goods.
Key responsibilities:
– Lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
– Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards
– Manage and prioritize repair and maintenance schedules in a timely and cost-effective manner
– Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
– Monitor and analyze vehicle performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency
– Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to avoid breakdowns and minimize downtime
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our processes and services
– Collaborate with other departments to understand the specific needs and requirements of our clients and provide timely solutions
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical lead or similar role in the transportation or logistics industry
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
– Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems
– Experience with diagnostic tools and software
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
