Summary:
The Vertical Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for operating a vertical packaging machine to package products. They work with a variety of packaging materials and products, and must be able to follow safety procedures and quality standards. The Vertical Packaging Machine Operator must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate vertical packaging machine
- Load and unload machine with products and packaging materials
- Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed
- Inspect packaged products for quality
- Maintain machine cleanliness and order
- Troubleshoot machine problems and report to supervisor
- Complete paperwork and records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or production
- Strong understanding of machine operation and safety procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a vertical packaging machine is a plus
